Monthly & Long-Term Spaces
$550 a month. $215 a week. Some people need a night. Others need a season.
Who These Spaces Are For
Work crews and contractors
If you are working a job in the area, you can put your RV somewhere quiet, keep your costs down, and be on the highway in under a minute in the morning.
Visiting family
If you have come to be near a parent or relative — including anyone at Oakwood Manor, about 1,900 feet away — you can stay close for weeks without paying for a motel.
Extended travel and seasonal stays
Snowbirds on the way to the coast or back home, people between homes, and anyone who simply wants to stop moving for a month.
The Everyday Things Are Close
Staying a month is different from staying a night — you need the ordinary things within reach, not a forty-minute drive. Everything here is inside a mile of your space.
- Bulk foods — Magnolia Market800 ft
- Breakfast, lunch & coffee — Ole Country Bakery, from 6:00am Mon–Sat0.4 mi
- A haircut — Kade's Klips, beside Magnolia Market800 ft
- Fuel — Shell station, gas and diesel, a couple of minutes south0.8 mi
- Everything else — Dollar General0.9 mi
The one thing that is not inside a mile is an evening meal — there is nowhere open for dinner in Brooksville. Macon is ten minutes south, or Columbus if you want real choice.
Laundry is the other one that takes a drive. There are no restrooms, showers or laundry here — every space has full hookups, so you are on your own facilities. The nearest laundromat is Superior Cleaners in Macon, about twelve minutes south.
How Far To Work
If you are here for a job, this is usually the question that decides it.
- Macon — the county seat, southabout 10 min
- Pickensville, Alabama — east, over the state lineabout 20 min
- Columbus — north on US-4522 mi · 23 min
- West Point — northwest27 mi · 28 min
- Starkville / Mississippi State — northwest25 mi · 30 min
- Meridian — south74 mi · 1 hr 20 min
You are on the highway in under a minute in the morning, which is the part that matters when you are doing it five days a week.
What You Get
What It Costs
About $31 a night
About $18 a night
$550 is the whole price. Electric, water, sewer and Wi-Fi are all in it. No meter, no reading at the end of the month, no second bill.
If you have stayed long-term at an RV park before, you will know that is not how it usually works. Most places charge you the site rate and then your electricity on top, and you find out what that came to on the day you leave. In a Mississippi July, running air conditioning, that can be a considerable surprise.
Here, you know what a month costs before you park.
There is no deposit, and yes — there is an agreement
No deposit. You pay for the period you are staying.
For a long-term space you sign a Space Rental Agreement, week to week or month to month. It is two pages, it is not complicated, and it exists so everybody in the park knows what the rules are. Either side can end it with a month’s notice.
What is in it, so nothing is a surprise:
- The monthly rate coversTwo people
- Each extra person$10 a month
- Room on a space forYour RV + 1 vehicle
- Quiet hours10pm – 7am
- Rent late after10 days, $100
- RVs over 15 yearsNeed approval
Pets need to be described on the form, kept off other people’s spaces and never left tied up outside on their own.
Rent is paid by card, on the same day each month. Nothing to post, nothing to remember, and no trip to the mailbox on the first of the month.
How To Arrange It
A monthly stay is a bit more of a conversation than an overnight stop — we want to make sure the space fits your RV and that the arrangement suits you both.
If you would rather send your details first, you can fill in an application and we will call you back.
Five short screens, about five minutes. Nothing is charged — Galen reads it himself and calls you back.
One thing to know before you set off
Please call us with your arrival time. Unlike an overnight stop, somebody needs to be here to meet you — we go through the rental agreement together and you sign it when you get here, rather than filling in forms online.
It takes a few minutes, and it means you have met the people running the place and know exactly where you stand before you unhitch. You will have read and agreed to the agreement online already, so there is nothing to read on the doorstep.
One thing to have with you. When you arrive, Galen will ask to see your driver’s licence for the rental agreement. Better you know that now than find it out standing at the door.
